I collect and study vintage cast iron, mostly cookware, pre-1960. I might sit on here and talk about my collection, go on picking field trips, or just turn on the stream while I'm in the workshop. I try to keep a weekly sales show but I can take orders any time!
I often purchase large piles, to keep what I like, and trade/gift/sell the rest to get the harder to find items. So far, I haven't made a profit, nor expect to. I get joy getting clean, century-old iron into the next caretaker's hands.
My wife Kristy is @craft_n_found and makes the coolest resin epoxy art. Together we own a small motel and it pays the bills while we play!
