Disney Pin Collectors!
We take great care to check each pin before selling.
Our top tips for spotting fake pins:
- The back of the pin - normally will have a Mickey pattern on the back and from 2023 onwards there will be a cubic zirconia mickey, old pins will have a ‘waffle’ back. (c) Disney
- FAC numbers - should be printed on - if there is a card backing, do the numbers match?
- the thickness of the pin - fakes are often thinner and feel lighter.
- soft enamel, often unlevel / dipped in the middle.
- metal edging / detail not smooth
- look on eBay for cheap bulk listings of pins - these are the most commonly faked.378 following
