Lot #62 – 1881–1899 Indian Head Cent Collection (11 Coins) This is a nice starter or filler lot of Indian Head pennies covering a good range of late 19th-century dates: 1881, 1882, 1886, 1890, 1891, 1892, 1893, 1894, 1897, 1898, and 1899. Description: Each coin features Lady Liberty wearing a Native American headdress, with United States of America on the obverse and the wreath and shield reverse. These were struck in bronze (95% copper, 5% tin and zinc). Dates are clearly visible; all coins are housed in 2x2 holders and labeled. Condition (approximate): Most coins appear to fall in the Good to Fine circulated range, showing moderate wear with readable dates and partial to full LIBERTY letters visible on some. Coins retain even brown toning typical of their age. Highlights: • Covers nearly two decades of minting. • No duplicates. • Great type lot for collectors filling album spots or building a century-old coin set.
