Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman is an animated film where Batman investigates a new, ruthless vigilante named Batwoman who is targeting the Penguin and Rupert Thorne's illegal weapons operation. As Batman tries to uncover her identity, he must also stop the villains' plot, which has led them to hire Bane to take out Batwoman. It is later revealed that the Batwoman persona is a shared identity between three women—Kathy Duquesne, Rocky Balentine, and Sonia Elen—each with their own reasons for wanting to stop the criminals.
