This is a vintage velvet jewelry box, likely mid-20th century (circa 1950s–1970s). This looks nicer in person. The difference in the color is from the velvet being crushed and not missing altogether. • Green velvet exterior with noticeable age wear and spotting • Hinged lid with a paper-lined interior (possibly original) • Two pull-out drawers with small brass-tone knobs • Interior appears to be paperboard/wood composite, typical of jewelry or keepsake boxes from this era
