For anyone who collects minerals, this is an opportunity to get a genuine specimen of America's finest anthracite, the "hard" coal. Mined from the Mammoth Vein in Tamaqua, PA, and area with over 200 years of mining history. Stock photos. Size and weight varies; ask to see exact specimen in show. If purchased outside of show, one will be shipped at random.

My collections are varied and I endeavor to learn the history as I go... these aren't simply objects, they are tiny pieces of history. By day I am a professional engineer who designs multi-million dollar coal reclamation projects in PA's anthracite region. I lived in the coal region my whole life. Also I have accumulated many unique items over the years and simply love to see these old things repurposed instead of landfilled. Shows will be mixed themes, requests always welcome!
