Very unusual religious imagery on this antique Georgian Snuff box. Interesting painting technique appears somewhat 3d, giving vague illusion of movement to the figure. Lacquer box measures roughly 3”x 2”x 1”. Original hinges. Gold colour paint with “metallic” effect like simulated Guilloche. Lacquer.
