Watercolour on paper. The house from Pixar’s “Up”. In Seattle the Up house is synonymous with Edith Macefields house. Miss Macefield refused to sell her home to make way for a new retail space. So they built around her. She got her wish and stayed in the house until her death in 2008. She had become friendly with many of the builders and left the deed to the house to the job foreman. Pixar later used the house in a promo for the movie. It’s still there.
