Lepidolite is a lilac-gray to rose-colored mica mineral known as a "peace stone" for its reputed calming, anti-anxiety, and emotional balancing properties. As the primary ore of lithium, it is highly valued for its high lithium content, which is used for treating stress and balancing emotions. The use of lithium carbonate to treat manic-depression (also known as bipolar disorder) was demonstrated clinically in 1954.
