Original flyer for a pre-Halloween show at The Riviera, 4746 North Racine, Chicago, Illinois, Wednesday October 28, 1987. Presented by Last Rites. Circle Jerks were LA hardcore veterans, formed in 1979 by Keith Morris after leaving Black Flag, and by 1987 were well into their run as one of the genre's most recognized acts. The Necros were an Ohio hardcore band who had grown into a harder-edged sound by this period and were touring regularly with Circle Jerks that fall. Rights of the Accused were a fixture of the Chicago punk scene. The "Pre-Halloween Hell Party" framing and hand-drawn artwork give this one some character beyond a standard show flyer. Condition shows some wear, print reads clearly.
