Vintage 1940s Ballgown & Capelet💐 Striking yellow strapless gown with dramatic silhouette and removable ruffle cape in silk tulle, rayon taffeta, and cotton net with romantic sweetheart neckline , pleated bust, structured/ boned bodice, nipped waist, gathered three-layer floor length skirt, and original lilac rayon velvet sash. Very rare and super cool Waldes "wartime" side zip closure, made with celluloid teeth due to metal rations and weapons manufacturing during the war. Size: XXS Measurements: 32" Bust 23" Waist 10" Bodice 40" Skirt Hip is free Dress has been freshly hand laundered and is in good, sturdy condition with wear typical of vintage tulle - a few subtle repairs/ tears in overlay and several hidden mends/flaws on net layer underneath.
