Meet Oscar, a Chihuahua Pit Bull (Chipit) mix. He was rescued by my son in 2021 after being abused then abandoned by his previous owner. This poor guy was poisoned then thrown out of a moving vehicle (caught on video) and the owner paid for it. We adopted him and covered the $10,000 hospital, follow-up veterinary fees, and DNA testing to ensure he would be properly cared for. Now 5 years later, he is a trained Psychiatric Service Dog, who is very active, loving, and a happy wee fella. Since Bartlett Animal Shelter is a small shelter, who responded quickly to Oscar's needs, I use ALL tips given during my live streams to purchase food, treats, bedding, and so forth to help other furbabies (cats & dogs) until they can find a "FOREVER" home.
