This piece does have two chips on bottom edge, on being significant chip on bottom side, on being far less noticeable. Is definitely hand thrown pottery and has a signature inside that says jesso I believe. This is a hollow piece no bottom made to be a drum or decorative accent, looks mid century in style. This is a very large heavy piece. Measurements 9.5 inches tall 8.5 inches wide
