On the Far Side with Dead Folks is a three-issue comic book miniseries published by Avatar Press in 2003. It was created by the acclaimed duo Joe R. Lansdale (writer) and Timothy Truman (artist), known for their work on the Jonah Hex series. Novella Adaptation: The series is an adaptation of Lansdale's 1989 zombie apocalypse novella, On the Far Side of the Cadillac Desert with Dead Folks. The original story won both a Bram Stoker Award and a British Fantasy Award.
