Rock Shi is an artist, calligrapher, and art educator based in Walnut, California.
Before moving to the United States, he taught art at a university in China for 24 years and served as a graduate advisor, helping students develop creativity, artistic skills, and personal expression through art.
Rock specializes in pen-and-ink drawing, pen-and-wash, Chinese ink painting, and calligraphy. His artwork blends expressive line work, traditional Eastern aesthetics, and a lifelong passion for artistic exploration. Every piece is hand-created and completely original.
During his live shows, Rock creates artwork in real time, sharing drawing techniques, creative insights, and the stories behind each piece. Viewers are invited to enjoy the creative process, interact with the artist, and bid on one-of-a-kind original artworks.
