Liz Claiborne Gold Tone Glass cab Topaz Rhinestone Bug Fly Brooch Pin, Signed Founded in 1976 in New York, Liz Claiborne Inc. was named after the famous American designer Anne Elisabeth Jane Claiborne, who also became a part of the founders. The company immediately became successful. LC accessories, like all other products of the company, were originally designed for a middle-income woman who works. This LC Bug Brooch features a figural insect with a glass cab on the bug's head and belly accented with champagne rhinestones on the wing on a gold-tone setting. Marked LC on reverse.
