This photograph is not a modern print or a commercial poster reproduction. It is a genuine photographic process known as traditional gelatin silver print. Photo was captured by the celebrated photojournalist Alfred Wertheimer (1929–2014) in mid-1956. RCA Records hired Wertheimer to shadow the 21-year-old singer just as he was transitioning from a regional sensation to global superstardom.  This is an iconic photo of young Elvis Presley sitting astride his beloved 1956 Harley-Davidson Model KH motorcycle wearing his iconic 1950s Harley-Davidson captain's biker hat featuring a small star on the crown.
