This is a stunning vintage Fenton Custard Satin Glass Lidded Pedestal ginger jar (Model #8288), dating to the late 1970s. This gorgeous piece features embossed oval medallions framing a hand-painted floral pattern, with matching painted leaves and berries decorating the lid. It has a beautiful, soft matte satin finish. This piece is completely authenticated and features the signature of celebrated Fenton master artist Dane Fredrick "D. FREDRICK" prominently on the bottom base and “DF” on the lid. Highly UV-reactive! Formulated with genuine uranium dioxide, this piece fluoresces an incredibly brilliant, electric neon green under a 395nm blacklight as seen in pictures. Excellent vintage condition. There are no cracks, chips, repairs, or fleabites. The hand-painted accents remain crisp, vibrant, and fully intact.
