vintage MGM Transport "The Peace Orb" divided glass dish, which was also widely distributed by Action International during the 1970s. dish has distinctly straight, sharp, vertical outer walls and a flat rim. This exact structural profile belongs to the mold used for the "Peace Orb" line.These were mass-produced in heavy, industrial-grade mold-blown soda-lime glass rather than lead crystal. Because they were intended as affordable novelty or utilitarian decor items, they were never etched or stamped in the glass mold itself.
