This large format, hardcover book is entitled "Rural England," by Lisbeth Gordon Seguin. This is the "Edition de luxe," which was limited to 600 copies, and "printed on special handmade paper, and proofs of illustrations on Japanese paper." Illustrated plates are by G.J. Pinwell, Helen Allingham, J.E. Millais, Arthur Hughes, and others. The book features publisher's decorative vellum gilt, and the cover has red and blue morocco onlays. The cover is worn and damaged, as shown, and the front lid has separated from the spine. A meager repair attempt was made at some point with packing tape, which I will leave for you to change as you wish. I do believe a skilled repair would have this book looking amazing.
