Only a couple months after losing my 15 year old dog who was like my child, there was a local woman desperately looking for a foster for a mother cat and her newborn kittens. I had zero desire to bring any new animals in to my home as the loss of my dog was still raw. But, this woman had exhausted all avenues and they needed an immediate safe home. So I took them in. I will never know the mom cats true story, but it quickly became apparent her life had been very hard. I have been working with her with little and big things, but her case is unique and going to take time. I named her Journey...it seemed fitting. Her 3 girls are Freya, Smudge, and Agatha "Aggie". All 4 go this week to be fixed +get their shots. Of course there have been expected expenses, but there have also been expenses that we didn't expect.
