The theme can easily be changed with other wooden knickknacks sitting on the shelf. So, if you want goose theme, then set some wooden geese on the shelf. (Or some small dolls or other miniatures.) All 6 month tiles will hang on the double hook in a stack. Depending on the month, you will slide in the numbers for that calendar month. It is optional to replace a number with a holiday tile as seen in the July month calendar sample. Extra tiles can be kept in one of the bags from shipment. This calendar was hand-painted. There is a wire hanger on the back.
