This is handcrafted using the traditional Mina Kari (or Minakari) In looking this up, this plate is traditionally made by hammering a copper base, which is then coated with white enamel glaze and painted before being fired. I find this piece so interesting. The setting of the historical monument in Isfahan, Iran: the Ali Qapu Palace.
