Spectacular c.1940s American costume brooch strongly attributed to Reinad, featuring an exceptionally unusual double royal/Asian Princess figural composition. Substantial dimensional gilt-metal casting is lavishly decorated with ruby-red marquise glass stones, emerald green, sapphire blue & clear rhinestones, faux pearl accents, jeweled green eyes and red lips. Dramatic oversized crowns and richly modeled faces embody the exotic theatrical glamour of 1940s Retro jewelry. The documented Reinad Asian Princess is highly collectible; this unsigned double-figure variation appears considerably less commonly encountered than the familiar single-figure design.
