Lot of 2 old heavy solid-metal scissors / shears. The larger pair was identified by the estate/source where purchased as antique dressmaker shears. We have found no maker name, model number or other identifying marks on either pair, so no specific manufacturer or exact age is guaranteed. The larger pair has the size, weight and heavy-duty construction commonly associated with vintage/antique dressmaker or tailor shears. The smaller pair is also an older solid-metal pair of scissors/shears. Includes: • 1 large heavy solid-metal dressmaker / tailor-style shears • 1 smaller heavy solid-metal scissors / shears • 2 pieces total Both are pre-owned and show substantial age and use, including surface rust, oxidation, finish loss, scratches, discoloration, worn paint and general cosmetic wear. They are being sold as found and have not been professionally restored, sharpened or cleaned. No maker marks were found on either pair.
