This piece is a classic example of Greyhound Post House restaurant ware, manufactured by companies like Syracuse China and Shenango China starting in the 1940s. Larger pieces in this set, like platters and dinner plates, typically showcase the iconic leaping greyhound or a stagecoach graphic at the center.
