This ring was missing its center stone. I used a piece of Czech glass from Halo Brother's Jewelry Store open from the 1930s-1970s to repair it. Crafted by the renowned Uncas Manufacturing Company, this gorgeous piece features a brilliant, vibrant blue central simulated sapphire stone flanked by two clear sparkling accents. Designed to mimic the look of fine estate jewelry, the ring has a heavy, substantial feel on the finger. The inner band is clearly stamped "18kt HGE" (Heavy Gold Electroplate) alongside the iconic Uncas maker's mark: a capital letter "U" with an arrow through it. This hallmark guarantees its pedigree as a genuine piece of vintage American costume jewelry history from the historic jewelry hub of Providence, Rhode Island.
