This listing is for a single Jakob Bengel watch chain from the late 1800's - 1915. If purchased outside of show, I will send a watch chain of my choosing. During shows, you may select. Jakob Bengel was a German jewelry designer and manufacturer who founded his company in 1873 in Idar-Oberstein, Germany, and became especially well known in the late 19th and early 20th centuries for producing high-quality machine-made chains and costume jewelry. The Bengel factory was particularly prolific during the Art Deco period of the 1920s and 1930s, when it produced innovative and stylish jewelry that reflected the bold geometric designs and modern materials of the Machine Age.
