Authentic circa-1900 Edwardian women’s day dress made from brown and taupe floral novelty-weave wool. Features a fitted bodice, layered plunging front, delicate cream lace trim, long shaped sleeves, dark velvet cuffs and a sweeping floor-length skirt. Approximately 17.5 inches across the shoulders. Offered through a museum deaccession and historical clothing auction featuring pieces from the M. Estella Sprague Costume Collection and select private estates. Antique condition with expected age-related wear. At approximately 125 years old, this garment should be handled carefully. Please examine all photographs.
