Authentic Edwardian linen and lace lingerie gown dating to circa 1908. “Lingerie gown” is the historical name for this lightweight, lace-trimmed style of Edwardian dress and does not necessarily mean that it was sleepwear. This full-length white gown has a dramatic 40-inch bust and 26-inch waist. Documented provenance from the M. Estella Sprague Costume Collection.
