Vintage handmade wool needlepoint pillow from Greece with a colorful floral design in soft green, blue, pink, cream, and rust tones. Original label reads “National Welfare Organization – Handmade in Greece.” The wool needlepoint front displays beautifully. The original fabric backing has staining, age-related wear, and several small worn-through areas/damage. Importantly, there is an additional interior liner beneath the outer backing, so the pillow insert remains contained despite the damage to the exterior back. Original label remains attached. A beautiful vintage Greek textile with lots of texture and handworked detail. Condition: Front presents very well. Back has visible staining, thinning, and small damaged areas and would benefit from repair or replacement.
