Group of seven early 20th-century ornithological prints depicting British and European bird species, including the Stock Dove, Lesser Whitethroat, Redstart, Mallard, and Redshank from John Lewis Bonhote’s The Birds of Britain (1907), illustrated by H. E. Dresser, together with plates by noted wildlife artist Archibald Thorburn depicting Greenland, Lesser, and Mealy Redpolls and Sedge, Reed, and Marsh Warblers (1924). The group combines individual species portraits and multi-bird compositions rendered in naturalistic settings, reflecting the high-quality scientific and decorative bird illustration characteristic of British ornithological publications of the period.
