This listing is for second vintage Thorens musical power jar, distributed by Silverite Co. of Brooklyn, NY. It features a beautifully detailed lid with classic artwork and a divided glass dish beneath. The music mechanism does play a few notes, but it does not run consistently. It starts, plays briefly, and then stops. Because of this, it is sold as-is, ideal for collectors, display, or repair. Condition Notes: Plays a short bit of music, then stops Mechanism needs servicing Vintage wear consistent with age Decorative lid and clear divided dish in good vintage condition Complementary Item: There is another Thorens musical jar being listed separately that visually complements this one. They are not sold as a pair, but collectors may enjoy owning both. Ellie-approved for quality and condition.
