Charming vintage mid-century landscape painting depicting a traditional windmill beside a cottage, arched bridge, winding canal, and pastoral countryside. Soft turquoise, greens, pinks, and warm earth tones give the scene a nostalgic European feel reminiscent of Dutch or Holland landscapes. The unsigned original is hand-painted on canvas board, with visible canvas texture and brushwork throughout. Medium appears to be acrylic, possibly oil. Artwork measures approximately 8” x 10” and is presented in a substantial 12” x 14” gold-tone wood frame with a cream linen-style liner and inner gilt trim.
