Rococo Revival brass inkwell featuring an ornate shell and scroll design with a decorative hinged lid. The sculptural form has a warm aged brass finish with beautifully detailed raised decoration throughout. Measures approximately 7" long x 5-1/4" wide x 2" high. The current removable insert is plastic and is not original to the piece. The original inkwell insert is missing. Shows age-related patina, oxidation, dark spotting, scratches and surface wear throughout. Hinged lid remains functional. Please review all photos closely for condition and details.
