Marks: impressed WEDGWOOD (flowed under the glaze), an impressed three-letter date code and star tally mark, and hand-painted pattern number A1620 in red. | History | Wedgwood introduced letter-prefixed pattern numbers in 1871 and added ENGLAND to its mark after 1891, so an A-prefixed number with no ENGLAND brackets this to c.1871-1891; the date code's year letter reads as K, which would place it in 1882 (confirm).
