A substantial collection of Charles Dickens’s Christmas writings, featuring A Christmas Carol alongside his other seasonal stories originally published in Household Words and All the Year Round. The volume includes The Chimes, The Cricket on the Hearth, The Battle of Life, The Haunted Man, and additional Christmas pieces, making it a much broader Dickens holiday collection than the usual standalone Christmas Carol. This 2001 Platinum Press edition was produced as a facsimile-style presentation of the 1871 collected edition, with the publisher noting that an original manuscript-era copy was used in its reproduction. The attractive green cloth binding with gilt decoration, illustrated cover, green endpapers, and ribbon marker make this especially appealing as a display or holiday gift edition.
