Sterling silver medal that was issued to someone that served during WW1. It would have originally hung from a ribbon - there's a small hole in the top that was plugged. This must have been a pocket piece for many years because it is very worn. I believe it is inscribed 5774 Pt. F.S. Smart. It's hard to read the edge.
