It is molded from blue slag glass (also known as marble glass), giving it a distinctive swirled, multi-toned blue and white pattern. The relief on the front features the iconic fictional cowboy character Hopalong Cassidy wearing his signature cowboy hat. These small chalice-style vessels were famously produced as limited editions by the Boyd Crystal Art Glass company in Cambridge, Ohio, with popular variations arriving during their late 1990s production runs.
