The Juror (1996) is a thriller about Annie Laird (Demi Moore), a single mother and sculptor selected for a high-profile Mafia trial. She is threatened by a cunning mob enforcer, "The Teacher" (Alec Baldwin), who forces her to manipulate the jury and secure a "not guilty" verdict for the mob boss, or he will kill her son. After the trial, as Annie tries to escape the mob, she gathers evidence to turn the tables on her tormentors.
