My grandmother taught me how to sew when I was five years old on her old treadle machine. After high school I attended a clothing services course at St. Cloud technical school and graduated top of my class. Since then, I’ve been sewing wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses and doing alterations and then started an embroidery business in 1998 and in 2023 I added a long arm quilting machine to my business. I love being creative and being able to make things from scratch that are unique and one of a kind. It’s very relaxing and rewarding. I don’t think of my job as work, it’s something I truly love and am happy to create beautiful quality works of art that can be handed down for many generations.
