This is an original, non-electric double-walled oven roasting pan made of dark blue enameled steel (graniteware). Patented in 1909 by Joseph Mathy and made by the Republic Metalware Co. in Buffalo, NY, this seamless model features the "SAVORY" brand deeply stamped exclusively on the lid. The ultimate highlight is the unbelievably rare original paper factory label still intact on the side. Finding a paper label that survived a century without being washed off makes this a prized collector's piece. Includes the original inner bottom tray insert.
