Mid-Century Nostalgia! This is an authentic 1950s/1960s amber pressed glass "Wedding Box" manufactured by the Jeannette Glass Company. Originally designed as a sweet keepsake for newlyweds to save a slice of their wedding cake, these geometric beauties feature a wonderful mix of a stippled upper band, teardrop patterns, and a faceted pedestal base. Perfect today as a high-end candy dish, jewelry box, or vanity display piece. Condition: Structurally excellent with no chips or cracks in the glass. Note that this is an amber-flashed piece, and there is visible, authentic vintage wear/loss to the amber flashing along the upper inner rim and sides (as shown in photos), revealing the clear glass underneath.
