Vintage Wedgwood EDME covered serving tureen / vegetable bowl, made in England. This classic Wedgwood Edme form features the pattern’s distinctive fluted creamware body, pedestal foot, sculpted ram’s-head side handles and ribbed domed lid. What makes this example especially striking is the dark green decoration, including green banding around the body and foot, hand-detailed ram heads and a lattice-style green design on the sculpted finial. The underside is marked WEDGWOOD EDME – MADE IN ENGLAND and also carries impressed Wedgwood markings and a handwritten decorating or factory notation. Very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks observed. There are minor signs of age and previous use, including scattered speckling, light discoloration and slight wear/irregularity to portions of the green decoration.
