Formed 1977 by Lee Ving, the band that got itself permanently banned from Saturday Night Live, put Flea on bass before the Chili Peppers existed, and cut The Record “I Love Livin’ in the City,” “Let’s Have a War,” “Beef Bologna.” Front carries the stencil FEAR wordmark with a red 40 at its center and 40 YEARS beneath in red stencil. Plain back. Tag: Tultex, 100% cotton, Made in Mexico, size TG / XL. This is the band’s 40th-anniversary run from around 2018–19 — an official dated release, not a catalog evergreen. FEAR’s own merch outlet no longer carries this design and the matching 40th Anniversary Tour poster is long sold out. Condition: Pre-owned and properly worn in. Black has faded to a deep washed charcoal. The white FEAR lettering shows visible crackling across the letterforms — shown close-up. The gold eagle is in better shape, all the feather linework still reading clearly. No holes, no tears, no stains found. Collar intact and unstretched.
