This print is of Queen Louise of Prussia (Königin Luise) originally painted by Gustav Richter in 1879. It depicts Duchess Louise of Mecklenburg-Strelitz (1776–1810), who became the Queen of Prussia. She was highly revered by her subjects as the "soul of national virtue". Her legacy was cemented during the Napoleonic Wars when she courageously met with French Emperor Napoleon I at Tilsit to plead for fair terms for her country. As seen in live Sold as is
