Product Details

nicknamed the "Hand Grenade" or "Beehive" pattern by collectors due to the distinctive ribbed, segmented design at the base. Production Era: These were manufactured roughly between the late 1940s and mid-1950s. The "Fired-On" Glaze: Unlike solid green Jadeite glass, these shakers were made using a ckeae glass base. A translucent green ceramic finish was then sprayed or "fired-on" over the exterior. Hazel-Atlas and Anchor Hocking frequently produced these in pairs containing a green shaker and a contrasting orange or blue companion shaker. CALLOUT some minor scratches to paint.
