Product Details
Group of six late 19th- and early 20th-century botanical prints depicting British wild plants and fruiting shrubs, including Wild Madder, Diffuse Bedstraw, and Small Scabious from James Edward Smith’s English Botany, illustrated by James Sowerby, c. 1883, together with Blackthorn, Hawthorn, and Privet from Wild Fruits of the Countryside, engraved by Frederick Edward Hulme, 1902. The group combines scientifically observed plant studies with decorative natural-history illustration, showing characteristic leaves, flowers, berries, and structural details in the precise, hand-colored style typical of British botanical publications of the period.
