We are pleased to offer this Accutron Spaceview 314 tuning fork wristwatch, reference 26A213. This modern interpretation of the original Accutron Spaceview features a 39mm Grade 5 titanium case, open dial, and blue Italian calf leather strap. This example comes with its original two-box set and papers. The Spaceview 314 brings back Accutron’s signature tuning fork technology, first introduced in 1960. Rather than using a conventional mechanical balance wheel, the watch is powered by a high-frequency tuning fork movement, producing the characteristic Accutron hum and smooth sweeping seconds hand. This timepiece is powered by the hand-assembled Accutron caliber Y230 tuning fork movement. Operating at 360 Hz, the movement is rated by Accutron to an accuracy of approximately two seconds per day. It also incorporates modern materials including silicium and Elinvar for improved efficiency and durability. The open dial provides a clear view of the tuning fork movement and its distinctive electronic components. It features a champagne-tone chapter ring with LumiNova hour markers, matching luminous hands, and central sweep seconds. It is housed in a 39mm brushed Grade 5 titanium case with straight lugs and a crown positioned at 4 o’clock. A domed sapphire crystal provides an unobstructed view of the open dial and movement. This example is fitted with its original blue padded Italian calf leather strap with a double-press foldover clasp. It comes with its original two-box set and papers. This timepiece has been inspected by our in-house watchmaker and is running and keeping time.
