This is a beautiful vintage fine bone china teacup and saucer set crafted by the renowned Aynsley England. Dating back to the late 1930s (circa 1934–1939), this stunning collector's set features a dramatic, high-gloss solid black exterior glaze on both pieces, contrasted beautifully by a snow-white interior inside the teacup. The inner bowl is adorned with a detailed, vibrant hand-painted bouquet of purple and yellow pansies. The pieces display the period-correct green stamped Aynsley crown backstamp along with hand-painted gold numbering marks (C830 variant). Approximate Measurements: Saucer Diameter: Approx. 5.5 inches Teacup Height: Approx. 2.75 inches Teacup: There are a few tiny, minor white dings/flea bites in the black glaze finish on the side of the cup body (likely from display wear or stacking).
